Online Resources Stories
One of Four, Matt, Lori, Alex, and me ( Tom ). In the very early days, every day was a challenge. We all had many hats and many responsibilities. There was no internet, and at the time very few options to allow a structured success, we had to make our options. There were so many technical challenges to overcome, but there were challenges in just about all of the areas. But the team that Matt put together were able to deliver succesful solutions and work around all of the issue. It was great fun and I am proud to be a part of the ORCC that you all know today. I am happy that ORCC continues to succeed even in the current market where everything is tight. The begins of where ORCC came from allowed the company to know how to deal with difficult issues and it is this foundation that will allow ORCC to thrive in the toughest of times.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday ORCC! I was with ORCC when they were actually ORCC (Online Resources and Communications Corporation), which was pre-IPO and then I left a few years after the IPO. I enjoyed some of my best days there. What a great group of people to work with and many of them are still there. We were so young and ambitious back then. They've been successful because everyone believes in what they are doing, and we were inspired thanks to the great management team that they've always had in place. Truly great times, I miss ORCC dearly.

I was an early executive of Online Resources when it was just getting consumers adopting. We struggled mightily to establish ourselves in the early days and I finally led the company's IPO in 1999 as Online's CFO. I remember when our staff argued about whether we could get 112,000 consumers and so it's now gratifying to see that somewhere around 10-15% of U.S. households are now using Online's services in some fashion. I'm very proud of the legacy created at Online Resources!
